sam fisher is back! and now with friends! |
|
after the underrated success of the original Splinter Cell, UbiSoft have continued the series in the shadowy world of Tom Clancy, paying attention to exactly the things that we wanted different. there are more gadgets (like laser-sights on the guns); plenty of exciting locations (like a train from Paris to Nice, and a militia camp in Indonesia); an even more gripping geo-political plot (involving the American Army being sent to East Timor in order to train soldiers, but the natives rise up in a rebellion, with a biological-weapon armed leader not afraid to die - you as sam fisher must speed up the process of destroying the rebel structure and ensuring peace); and most significantly of all, an online multiplayer mode! this new thing should be incredible - a deadly game of hide and seek limited to 4 players - shadownet operatives (generic sam fishers) vs. mercenaries (who protect targets that the shadownet soldiers must infiltrate. apparently the multiplayer plots will link to the main plot. all this, alongside more dynamic graphics; new moves like a SWAT door-roll; a less linear plot and a pulsing soundtrack! this should be another hit!

A Smash Hit |
This game will be a smash hit if it lives up to the amazing original game. The screenshots Ive seen of the game are incredible showing some really cool stuff, both the extensive missions and the story line. Some of the cool things to look at for include the sparks under the train in one of the missions and some of the cool new moves you can do as Sam Fisher!A must buy for any 3rd Person stealth fan like myself - I am certainly buying this straight away! :)

A NICE RETURN FROM THE ESTABLIHED UBISOFT SERIES! |
Ubisoft’s exciting fictional character of Sam Fisher returns in this stunning game, of which an involving plot is revealed. As with the previous Splinter Cell games, the user is put in complete control of his actions, with their own methods of infiltration etc. chosen. There are two ways to place this game- either by way of stealth or simply charging through the levels with full guns blazing. I don’t want to spoil the experience for you so I’ll give you a brief overview of the plot. Basically a conflict has emerged between the Indonesian guerilla’s and East Timor- with your (Sam’s) job to assist U.S. troops in their involvement in the conflict. After all he is the best!Although the format and graphics are similar, the wondrous cut scenes and higher built tension sets Pandora tomorrow apart from the other games. For all you gun lovers you’ll also be pleased to know that he is equipped with a greater arsenal of weapons, as well as inventive gadgets. The multiplayer experience is excellent with atmospheric stealth missions available and glorious maps that have many nooks and cranny’s in which you can hide and pry. The only negative point to be made about the game is that for some, the action may seem a little bit repetitive in terms of missions However I am yet to get bored because of the great variety of weapons and exciting multiplayer missions and so this point is only a minor one. So I urge you that if stealth or even action is your game, then you will certainly want this one.
